Terms of Use
Last updated:
The short version: NoHit is a self-help tool, not medical care. Pro renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account, and you always see the price before you pay.
Where the iOS and Android apps differ, this page says which is which.
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and NoHit for your use of the app. By using NoHit you accept them. You must be 18 or older.
Not medical advice
NoHit is a self-help and tracking tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure nicotine addiction or any other condition.
Health timelines in the app describe what is typical, from the public-health sources listed under Sources & disclaimer; your experience may differ. The dependence score is adapted from the Penn State E-cigarette Dependence Index and is a guide, not a diagnosis. The sky is a symbol of your progress, not a picture of your lungs.
Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about nicotine replacement or other support, and before you stop if you are pregnant, take medication or have a health condition. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
NoHit Pro
Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The plans on offer, with their price, billing period and any free trial, are shown on the paywall, in your currency, before you buy.
-
Payment is charged to your Apple Account (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play account (Android) when you confirm the purchase.
-
On the App Store, a subscription renews automatically at the same length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before then.
-
On Google Play, a subscription renews automatically at the same length unless you cancel before the current period ends, and is charged at the start of each new period.
-
If a plan starts with a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Buying a subscription during a trial ends the rest of that trial.
-
Cancel or change your plan any time, or from Settings › Manage subscription in the app:
- iPhone and iPad: the Settings app › your name › Subscriptions.
- Android: the Play Store app › your profile › Payments & subscriptions.
Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
-
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
-
A lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews.
-
Refunds on the App Store are decided by Apple under its own policies, not by us. Ask Apple for one from Settings › Request a refund in the app, or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
-
Refunds on Google Play: within 48 hours of a charge, you can ask Google Play for a refund from your order history, which Settings › Request a refund in the app opens; Google Play decides under its own policies. After 48 hours, email contact@imageek.tech with the order ID from your Google Play receipt.
-
Settings › Restore purchases brings Pro back on a new phone signed in to the same Apple Account or Google Play account.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use NoHit on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to break the law.
Share cards are made from your own progress or report. You choose whether and where to post them, and you are responsible for what you share.
App Store terms
If you downloaded NoHit from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA) applies to your use of NoHit, together with these terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to support it. Read Apple’s Standard EULA.
Google Play terms
If you downloaded NoHit from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download of NoHit and to your purchases in it. Read the Google Play Terms of Service.
No warranty
NoHit is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or that it will help you quit.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and using NoHit after a change means you accept it.
Contact
Questions about these terms: contact@imageek.tech. For billing, contact Apple support (App Store) or Google Play support (Google Play); for a Google Play refund after 48 hours, email contact@imageek.tech as described above.
