Website Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy covers analytics on imageek.tech. Our products have separate privacy policies linked from their product pages. For website privacy questions or requests about your personal data, contact contact@imageek.tech.

Optional analytics and cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google, to understand website use and interest in our products. Analytics may process pages visited, referring pages, product and store link interactions, device and browser information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Google receives technical information, including your IP address, when your browser connects to its service; GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

We rely on your consent for this analytics processing and for analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies normally expire after two years and may be renewed by subsequent visits. We do not load Google Analytics until you accept. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to the site. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization consent remain denied.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage under imageek-analytics-consent so we can remember it on future visits. If you clear site storage or use another browser, we will ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.

Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings in any footer to change your choice. To withdraw consent, select Reject. We stop future analytics tracking, reload the page to unload Google Analytics, and remove accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site where technically possible. You can also remove cookies through your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing or delete data already collected.

Retention and Google’s role

Our GA4 property is configured for 14-month retention of user-level and event-level data covered by that setting. This is not a blanket deletion deadline: standard aggregated reports are not subject to that setting, and user identifier retention may reset with new activity if that option is enabled. Cookie expiry is separate from GA4 data retention.

Google processes analytics data as our service provider under its applicable Analytics terms and data processing terms. Processing may involve transfers outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.
